Ali Asgary, a seasoned entrepreneur, had a vision to share exceptional quality Italian pizza and pasta with his family and friends in a quick service environment. Due to the limited available options of quick service quality food–Vis-à-Vis came to existence. Our name, Vis-à-Vis, meaning “Face to Face”, was inspired by our open concept kitchen layout.
Our Pastas are freshly prepared and made in front of customers while our homemade meatballs & chicken are cooked fresh every day. Our flour & pizza oven is imported from Italy, giving you authentic Italian flavor and experience. The dough is fermented for at least 24 hours then fire-baked in the oven to perfection in just a couple of minutes.
Our pizzas are fire-baked in a 3,000 pound rotating stone oven imported directly from Italy. Heating up to 1,000 degrees using a combination of wood & gas, we’re able serve multiple authentic dishes within minutes!
We use highly refined imported flour, the Godfather of flours, if you will — the Italian Caputo “00” that produces a soft yet crispy pizza crust.
Our imported tomatoes are only packed during the three-month vine ripe season and hand-milled to just the right texture. In the intense oven heat, they caramelize to sweet perfection and burst with fresh flavour.
Our pasta is made in house from flour in an imported pasta maker from Italy with 3 special dies to make fresh fettuccine, penne and spaghetti. You will taste the difference in quality from packaged pasta to fresh pasta at Vis-à-Vis.
Our aim is to offer Pizza & Pasta at the highest standard using slow, time honored methods and ingredients in a quick service environment.
